sewing progress

well, as i speak the bodice of my ball gown is almost done, i just have to sew in 3 more bones, do fastening at th back and it's functional, then i have to make a bertha so it's pretty :)
the skirt is cut out, long seams sewn, i was too tired last night to cut out a hem facing, but i should be able to get that done tonight, then it's on to the flounces, and my god there are a lot of flounces on this thing :)
work is so sucky at the moment :( i had to stay late last night to teach a girl how to make a costume, i'm a technician, i'm not supposed to teach, and they do NOT pay me enough to teach. so i didn;t get home till 7, and was so pissed off at my boss making unreasonable demands, that i couldn't settle to work on my dress. my boss remaked to me yesterday morning, totally in passing, 'oh, and we need a pantomime horse, for the play next week' WHAT!!!! luckily we have a horses head, so i only have to make a body, but i could do without that on top of all the other things i have to do.
ugh, so work sucks, but then doesn't it for most of us? at least it's the weekend :) and my costume college package has arrived, with my friend in LA :( she's scanning it and emailing it for me, but she can't do it till the weekend :( i want to know what the classes are! i hope some of the ones that caught my fancy last year are on again this year, i just have to wait and see i guess :)
