Day 1 of break was relaxing. Yay!

Mondays are Mondays, even on short weeks...

I got my ears pierced again today. Third lobes. I've been thinking about it pretty much since I got my second holes in January. More sparkle is always good!

Literally. Backpack in aisle=me on the ground. Since today was my prep day, I left after fourth period. I landed right on my hip, scraped my knees and palm, and twisted my shoulder. Ouch. More than that though, I didn't see the fall coming so waa more rattled by it than most falls, which I do see coming.

We were testing today, which meant I could just sit at my desk and not hobble around the room. Of course, that meant I had more time to stew over it. Anyway. Advil and a heating pad and I feel much better.

Tomorrow is math testing at work. Thankfully we don't have a testing schedule. They're just going to take the tests in our two hour English classes. It's an easy day, but we have so much testing!

Sunday nights are always so strange. Not ready for another week...

I knit three rows last night! And I enjoyed it!

I also rescheduled my eye appointment for a week earlier. I realized that it's a medical appointment, not an eye appointment, so it uses the medical part of the insurance so only being able to use it once a year shouldn't be an issue. I wrote my insurance to confirm, and they said call VSP. VSP was confused when I called because they don't do cataracts. I told them that was the answer I expected.

When I made the appointment, lots of appointments were available in November. When I tried rescheduling, the earliest was December 31. I tried a new appointment, but only the optometrists were available. I want to go straight to a surgeon. I don't know if that actually saves a step, but it seems smart. So now my appointment is December 31, with the surgeon I originally scheduled with, which is nice because it's during break.

I wish I had thought of the medical vs glasses appointment earlier! But it's a month and a half away. Not that long to wait! I'm a little anxious because I don't want them to tell me something like just keep changing your glasses. That's not working. And it would be amazing to not need glasses, or even need them less.
