mlsdesignswell, today didn't quite work as planned! i suddenly thought, i hadn't checked if i had enough velvet ribbon - naturally i didn't! so mummy gave me a lift into town to get some more, tried 3 shops before i found it :( and then it wasn't quite right it's a bit too wide, and there was barely 3/4 of a yard!! but it'll do, and i have 1/2" spare!!!!!
on the way in i started to feel sick, and i've been fighting a very painful left shoulder all day. it got worse and worse all afternoon. luckily i'd stopped feeling sick, but was in s much pain from my shoulder i had to go to bed for a nap. mummy forgot where i was so i slept for 3 hours!
so the bertha is still not finished :( tomorrow though, or i might just have to cry, and maybe kill something!! (here's hoping there's a spider in the bath or something so i don't have to kill mummy or the dog or the cat!)
