progress!

i made mummy's mockups yesterday (for the ball gown and a basque day bodice) and did a fitting this morning, the only trouble was too much length in the waists and a bit tight in the rib cage, yay :) so the ball gown bodice is cut out and sewn up!! the lining for the day bodice is cut out, but we went to a birthday party this evening so the plaide isn't cut out yet, i think i'll need a good nights sleep before i tackle that bad boy, what on earth possessed me to make such a complicated bodice in something that needs so much matching :(
i took photos of the fitting, but i'm too too sleepy to upload them now :p i promise pics tomorrow, and hopefully there'll be pics of bodices looking like bodices :)
