well, i've been busy!!
i finished the stays this morning, and while i had my camera and meg out i took more photos for you all (and also to post on craftster.) so click not just for the stays but also 2 new handbags and several tops and a skirt!!
first up, as promised, the stays!!

meg is now much flatter than me, so imagine a cleavage!!

the straps are so much better than the old ones, and i love the eyelets :)

the tabs aren't really that wonky, promise! but it does show off my hand sewing quilt well, i'm soooo proud, i sewed the entire thing by hand!! (and silly me forgot to take a photo of the inside :(

i need to show mummy this pic, she laced me up totally wrong last time.

now on to the bags!
first up, a veeeery pink concoction:

any one recognise the handle ;)

the lining is quilted taffetta, it rustles! but the quilting was a real pain.
this is my first attempt at a bowling bag, and i used my own pattern

IT'S GOT BUGS ON!!!

LOTS OF BUGS!!

and i'm verry pleased with the lining, i put in a pleated phone pocket and a patch pocket, with a velcroed flap.
hmmm, perhaps i'll leave the clothes for the next post, this one is veeeery long now!
second thought, click in the NEXT post for the clothes!
