Baking up a storm :)

So, since I no longer have to be on a crazy low fat diet for my gallstones I've been making up for the last few months of no cakes and cookies by baking crazy cupcakes :)

This week I made 2 types of cake, chocolate and vanilla, and started out with 2 frostings, a dark peanut butter chocolate buttercream type and a honey creamcheese frosting. I ran out of frosting before I ran out of cupcakes, so I made a toffee chocolate buttercream frosting as well. The honey creamcheese is in front, the peanut butter is on the right and the toffee choc on the left. I decorated the honey and toffee choc cupcakes with chopped up crunchy bar, and the peanut butter ones with chopped honey roasted peanuts.

I'm not as good a food photographer as some of the amazing bloggers out there, but this toffee choc cupcake was so pretty, I had to try, and boy did it taste nice!

LOOK at all that frosting, Yummmmmm!!!!!
I can't wait till Saturday now, I've decided Saturday is baking day :) I never seam to manage to do much sewing on a Saturday anyway, and we have dancing on Sunday so the cakes will be at their freshest :)
Now to do the washing up, then it's time to sew, I have some ideas for my new ballgown and can't wait to get started!
