this is the new fabric i bought draped a la sacque back
it goes so well with what i had already
close up of the embroidery, not very clear but you can see the colours better
and the anglaise is now finished!
sorry the wuffie snuck himself in there!
clare's frock coat is nearly done, the lining is in, i just have to hem it and make cuffs, then SHE can cover buttons and sew them on and do all the frogging and stuff! photos of the 2 of us soon i promise. off to sleep now.....

Date: 2007-01-05 11:29 pm (UTC)you can see why i couldn't resist the fabric! but it must join the stash till much later in the year, sob!
i'm really pleased with how the anlaise turned out, i was really worried about the 'blueness' of the blue, and i thought the embroidery pattern might look daft, but it all turned out ok, yay!
