Finally all sorted!

The sewing room is now (almost) done! All my boxs and bags of 'stuff' have been sorted and organised; two tables, the piano and the linen press have been swapped; several Ikea shelf units and a bookcase have been made and filled; and I've finally got all my sewing bits and bobs in one place!
I still have a few bits I need (most importantly a wall mounted thread rack), and there are a few more random bits on tables and the floor in need of homes, but it's so very nearly done it feels right to say 'it's finished'!
When I first started this mammoth undertaking, I said 'I'd like to get it all done by the end of the month'. Boy did I wish I hadn't said that at times! At one point on Saturday, and again on Monday, I found myself sat on the floor, covered with dust and surrounded by piles and boxes of STUFF absolutely everywhere, thinking 'I can't do this anymore' as tears rolled down my cheeks! But it's all (almost!) done now, and it's sooooo wonderful! It was totally worth it, I'm going to take some photos soon to show you, I'm that pleased with how it turned out :)

And I know what you mean about being overwhelmed. Clutter does that to me and usually about halfway through reorganizing I just want to throw in the towel but its worth it in the end.

I keep saying I'm going to pull everything out of my room so it can all be dusted but its just too scarey. And its so dusty.
