roly was put to sleep this morning, he died in my arms very peacefully. he had had a bad night and was wheezing, so when we got there at 9 he sat on my lap and we all said good bye, and i had lovely cuddles, then the vet gave him the injection and he just dropped off to sleep. he's not in pain or sad any more. i'll always love my little boy.

thank you, i have been so worried the last couple of days that he would slip away over night, or be in so much pain they had to make a quick decision, and i wouldn't get to say goodbye. but he was on morphine so didn't really hurt, and we had a lovely long cuddle, i was hugging him, clare was stroking him and he was looking at mummy as he dropped off, so he knew how much we all loved him.

Twice this morning while reading your posts, I've had tears in my eyes. Now I have to go to work, and feel very sad. But I know you loved him, and he knew it.
