drama at the drama workshop

sorry, i couldn't resist! i had to use that subject this week :) it is so exhausting working with 72, yes 72!!! small children all day. there is one 4 year old, one 5 year old, 12 six year olds, lots of 7 and 8 year olds, about 15 ten year olds, lots of 11 and 12 year olds and then a few 13 year old helpers. the helpers are all useless! they have absolutely no initiative, they can't see a child struggling and go and help them unless they are told in words of one syllable, 'go and help him/her', ugh, snotty little monsters :p
also, i'm sooo sleepy after i get home that i haven't done anymore doll's sewing, and i need to make another swimsuit, not to mention all the things i want to make too.
i've been trying to think what to take to do next week, i can't take my sewing machine so i need something to hand sew, i don't have any time to prepare, so i guess it'll have to be a small project, ie doll size not people size. i was thinking of doing my quilt for granny, but i want to machine piece it and then hand quilt it, and i haven't even started yet :) i think that's a job for the winter holiday in scotland, a nice warm lap covering! so i thought i might make some quilts for my dolls, i can hand piece them and quilt them by hand too. i think i'll also take a bear to hand sew (a little one, the big ones i do on the machine) for a change, i might get very bored otherwise.
