On a (small and slow) roll!

SO, today I finished the pink bodice alterations and I love the sleeves! I made a pair of net undersleeves, they work really well under the blue, but the pink, not so much :( So back to the drawing board I think, although the cotton undersleeves I made for Mummy's lilac plaid wool work OK. I also finished the other decorated net, it's very silly! I'll have photos soon I hope!
So, now I'm working on my white waist, I think it's going to work out very nicely, but unfortunately the cotton I used for the lining may not be up to the job of hiding the red flossing on my corset, and since a new corset is rather more work than I have time for now!! I think I'm going to be adding a corset cover to my list of things needed for FRIDAY!! Boo :(
Oh well, off to bed, more work tomorrow! At least I'll have fun wearing it (and seeing Mummy wear it) after all this sewing! I wish I didn't have to do it all again as soon as we get back ready for the Jane Austen festival! And I'll be back at work then too :'(
