(no subject)

No sewing today, but I did spend the evening dressed as a '40s Red Cross Nurse, in the company of a land girl, a merchant navy captain, a factory worker, a rich lady, a girl in the WAFF and a transport pilot ( pictures tomorrow hopefully) watching Mrs Miniver, and eating rabbit stew and parsnip cake :)
Maybe no sewing tomorrow either, my Aunt is here for the weekend and we're going out for lunch, then it's dancing in the evening. With any luck I'll be able to squeeze a little bit in at least though.

A nice Sunday

Well, I did manage to get some sewing done today, around visiting with my Aunt and dance practice. The petticoat is nearly all sewn the the waist tapes now, just half of the back left to do, which hopefully I'll get to tomorrow during my breaks ( I decided it's not too big to get to school at the moment, it folds up quite nicely, but once I start getting trim on there I'll be leaving it behind)

Why does it have to be the end of the weekend all ready :'(
