Being generally useless ...

After Aubry's visit, (which was totally awesome by the way! and I do have photos to post and a 'what we did' re-cap, but the photos are on my laptop at home, and I'm at school!) I had just under a week before the next lot of fun started!
My Birthday was on the Thursday, so Clare came home to visit after work on the Friday with her new girlfriend, and we all went out for Tapas for my birthday treat! Then on the Saturday our dance group had a ball with a Victorian Austrian Hunters theme (photos of that to come too! I made a new 'Swiss waist' and a very cool new hairpiece!)
Clare and Carmelle went home on the Sunday and I have spent the last week feeling pretty sorry for myself! I know I'm very tired from the crazy couple of weeks, but I think mostly it's been a case of the body-clock initiated Birthday blues!
To top it all off Mummy is working away from home this week, in Wales. She went yesterday and is home again Wednesday evening, so it's not forever, but I really don't like being on my own :( However, spending most of yesterday on my own doing nothing seems to have been the kick up the ebackside I needed, because after supper I suddenly had the energy to do some sewing! I've been meaning to do some modern stuff all week, and finally got round to making a start - a dress to wear to go out with friends on Friday :)
My next project will be a dress to wear to my best friend's sister's wedding in the Summer, then I think I need to get on with our summer Elizabethan demo kit.
