we got back from scotland last night at about 9 or so, and i went to sleep as soon as i could :) i just finished reading my flist, and i'm sooo jealous of you all going to CC in a few days :( i still haven't found out how on earth i can get my membership for next year, they didn't reply to my questions. do they go on sale during costume college? we you all be getting yours then? i reeealy want to go next year, and would hate to miss getting my ticket.
we just had a scare, i heard a scuttling and suddenly saw a mole walk out from under the magazine rack! we're sitting in the sitting room!!!! it scuttled all round the edge of the room, getting under the furniture and just getting out of reach each time! it even wriggled when clare finally caught it, she could feel it through the towel, it wriggled so much she dropped it several times :) this has got to be the strangest thing psyche has brought in for us, at least we're assuming that's what happened, normally the things she brings are much more dead!!
we were hoping to go and get hobson today, but the breeder has a bitch who was due to whelp on friday, and she obviously waited till today to give birth just because we wanted to go today! so hopefully we'll be going tomorrow, so expect pics of my new baby!!!!
and i've just realised, my holiday has finally started :)
so, any ideas on what to do about my CC ticket?

Oh my goodness... I would be completely weirded out if there was a mole in my sitting room! Good for Clare for catching it. :)

I was thinking of you earlier today. David and I walked the dogs up to the town centre so he could go to the bank. While waiting for him to come back out, I saw a family walking three or four of their spaniels. They are such a pretty breed. You must be so excited to be bringing Hobson home soon.

When you find out about CC can you let me know? I was thinking of going next year as well.

Many of us will be paying for our next years membership on the last day of CC, which is the only day we can do it there. I'm bringing checks from two friends who I'm dropping it off for them.
If you know of someone who is going, you can have them do the same. Or if you want, if you can get it here to the west coast of CA by Wed, I can bring it for you. Let me know.

yes, she is very good when the small and furies come to call!
it must be so wonderful to have your doggies back, just having them with you for walks into town must be great after missing them so much. i love spaniels, i want three or four too :)
i will definitely let you know, i just wish i could do it on line, you get so spoiled don't you :)

Oo! Im very excited at the prospect of you going to CC next year! I bought my ticket though the mail last year. But I hope to buy next year's at CC this year. I would try emailing them again, and maybe even calling. Good luck!

I'm not in the US either, so I emailed them about tickets since I would like to go next year as well. I'm surprised they didn't email you back. But the answer I got was that ticket go on sale the week after CC for people who aren't there. I was also told that I could send a postal money order instead of a cheque, so that I don't really have to bother with the whole conversion of money. I hope this was helpful. Good luck! :)

Sorry I couldn't respond to this quicker. I was in transit from Washington to California ALL day yesterday. Flying sucks sometimes.
