happy christmas!

mlsdesignsi hope every body had a wonderful christmas, and that santa was very kind to your stockings :)
it's scary how long it is since i posted last, but moving house is so much like hard work, it seems like i never have any energy left to write a coherent post! i think moving would be terrible at the best of times, but with christmas in the middle it's dreadful.
also we had the silly idea that instead of having a one day house warming party we would have a week long open house, telling people to come any time they like between the 28th and the 1st, we had family here for the day after boxing day, and since then so many people have been here. it's been so hard to keep track, we were 10 for supper last night, and we ate late because some friends came for mince pies and didn't leave as soon as we thought, so while they were here we were 14!!! as soon as we get our breath back after one lot leave another lot come :)
luckily there was no dancing tonight, although unfortunately it's because the organiser is sick. i was really looking forward to it, but it was for the best because i think i would have been too tired to enjoy it properly.
the poor puppy is very confused with all these people, she gets very very excited and then flakes out at about lunch time and sleeps most of the rest of the day, only waking up for snuggles and tail wags when one lot leaves and another arrives!
i'm looking forward to tomorrow, hopefully it'll be quieter, i want to start sewing again :p
