after the event

well, i'm still alive!
i was such a wreck by the time i went into the room, mummy was with me and as soon as the sister asked me if i was ok i started to cry. i must have gone very green because they had me on the couch flat on my back with my legs up! i must have nearly broken mummy's hand i was squeezing so tight, and tears streaming down my cheaks! oh my god the injection hurt so much :( i was expecting pain, i've had so much dental treatment lately i'm getting blase about it :p but i never knew it could hurt sooo much. but at least after the needle went away i couldn't feel anything any more. no, i tell a lie, i could FEEL all the tugging and cutting, but not really 'feel' it if you know what i mean! very strange sensation, and having it cauterised was most odd, but i won't go into details!
i went to bed as soon as we got home, and don't feel so woozy any more, but i'm very drained. it doesn't actually hurt, it's just very tight, so eating and drinking is a bit hard :)
oh, i finished mummy's nightgown this morning (except the buttons) so today wasn't a total waste as far as sewing goes!

Heavens, count my lucky stars, it never was this tough for me! I hope you get consolation that you are healthier for it--two less things to get skin cancer. Meanwhile it's easier from here one--it's kind of like a cut healing.
