the hair i did ages ago when we did a little 'victorian costume' talk at my friend's history group. i did it all without clare's help too :p

That's great! I need to do something like that but need to figure out how since I need to wear mine as a low chignon (fake) to cover the bottom of my short hair. But it gives me some ideas. So far I've mainly wore my bonnet, with my lace cap on to cover the top when bonnet is off.

noooo, i never took a still pic, but the 'base' went up pretty much the same as the one in my icon, (the only difference is the number of partings!) oh, and clare twisted my back hair up, i just brushed it straight up.

Excellent! I was pretty sure you had some but at the time I wasn't focusing on the 1830s. I really like the flower things you used this time. I'm going to look around for some that could be used for this.
