photos from the ball
Apr. 20th, 2009 11:36 amhere they are, as promised!

i love my mummy <3

clare helped me make mummy's hairnet, but she had to leave before it was finished, so i put all the decorations on

narrowest black velvet ribbon, with lace lappets, black silk satin ribbon pleated over the top and hanging down, and a single ostrich feather, i tried curling it with scissors, and it looks great, just like the originals :)

and now me :p this pic shows the colour very well, it's not so shiny as the others.

my hair was such hard work! but i loved it :)

and a silly :) this may have to be an icon too!

i also have in detail pics of how i did mummy's hair, but i think i'll save them for another post.

Date: 2009-04-20 09:54 pm (UTC)we found 3 gorgeous oval ornate gilt frames, and we want to put portraits of the 3 of us in them. at first i thought maybe actual paintings, but now we're thinking probably photographs, printed on canvas using some wizardry to make them look more paintily. and i'm thinking of using one of the profile shots to try and make a silhouette :)
