Well, it was a wonderful day, if rather tiring! It only tried to rain once in the morning, and the rest of the time was quite pleasant, not too hot, not too windy, just right while we were dancing!
Anyway, I've got some nice photos, and there may be more to come from the other camera that was in use during the day, but the best of the ones from my camera are
First off, Mummy's 18th C dress, a few photos in our garden when it was finished except for sewing the tabs in place.

She's wearing a modern silky scarf as a kerchief, it's totally the wrong shape, but gives the right impression :)
Photobucket
Such a lovely sunny day :p
This is our group in the middle of 'My Lord Byron's Maggot'
Photobucket
And a real action shot!
Photobucket
Then we had the first change of the day! Mummy's outfit looked so good, she really looked the part, although I think the curls made her look a bit like a doddery great aunt :p
Photobucket
I'm so pleased with her sleeves, you can't really see so well here, but the band is a 'V' shape.
Photobucket
And her hat is the crown of a hat I made last year with some left over ribbon, a broken button and an ostrich feather from the stash!
I felt so elegant in my dress, till my petticoat straps fell down and I kept treading on it's hem, which was now an inch longer than the skirt!
Photobucket
I'll have to get round to taking a better photo of my silly hat, it's actually a brocade.
Photobucket
Then we changed again! This time with a long session of relaxing, sitting in our undies before putting corsets on!
Photobucket
And a couple of shots of my new bonnet. The straw braid came from a hat I bought in the summer. I still can't believe how long it took me to figure out the shape, it looked so simple but was very very tricky.

Photobucket
And just an example of how we all felt by the end of the day!

Not so much sewing to do for the next one, we're just doing regency and victorian and all I have to do is sort out my regency petticoat, (I think I'll put it on a bodice instead of straps) and make up my plaid cotton work dress so I have something more suitable. I'm also going to make another 1860s over hoop petticoat, I tripped on mine a couple of times because it's a bit too long on an uneven surface. Of course, I may get silly and decide to make other things too, but nothing else is necessary!

Wow - gorgeous! Is the pink gown the skirt from the one you made last year with the train?

All very pretty and I loved the curls you have with the regency hat and frock!

Wow! You both look so amazingly beautiful! You've really outdone yourself this time. The blue dress re-model turned out wonderfully. And all your new gowns are so pretty! Especially with the great hats.

Thank you :) I love accessories, they're what make a costume into real clothes I think.

Thank you! It is indeed the same skirt! Without your extra fabric I might not have made this bodice too :)
Aren't the regency curls silly :p They're on wig clips, so they just clip to my head after I've done the rest of my hair!

You guys all look great! Ma looks so pleased with herself in the blue and the colour really suits her, especially with the white. I think she needs more royal blue in her wardrobe, don't you? And you look utterly stunning in your Regency. Saff and Bryony look adorable - and dashing! - as Eighteenth Century Gentlemen! Did they cross-dress all day or just for that section?

What did the public think? You guys looked so wonderful, I bet they really enjoyed it!

Yay :) It IS a good colour on her isn't it?!
DO you like the silly hat and daftest hair?!? They were both boys for regency too, and then Bryony was a boy for victorian, but Saff was a girl, and I did her hair and she looked so sweet, she has a new dress that's all covered in pretty pinky flowers.
We had lots of children joining in, a couple of them kept coming back for more! And a girl we met on Monday at the village hall craft fair came, and we took her to dancing tonight too! She lives in Barrow, but is going to China for a year in July :(

Pretty pretty princesses. That last picture is wonderful! You and your mom look lovely, and all the gowns are pretty. I think the pink is my favorite, though. Pink AND ruffles. What's not to like? :)
