Well, it was a wonderful day, if rather tiring! It only tried to rain once in the morning, and the rest of the time was quite pleasant, not too hot, not too windy, just right while we were dancing!
Anyway, I've got some nice photos, and there may be more to come from the other camera that was in use during the day, but the best of the ones from my camera are
First off, Mummy's 18th C dress, a few photos in our garden when it was finished except for sewing the tabs in place.

She's wearing a modern silky scarf as a kerchief, it's totally the wrong shape, but gives the right impression :)

Such a lovely sunny day :p
This is our group in the middle of 'My Lord Byron's Maggot'

And a real action shot!

Then we had the first change of the day! Mummy's outfit looked so good, she really looked the part, although I think the curls made her look a bit like a doddery great aunt :p

I'm so pleased with her sleeves, you can't really see so well here, but the band is a 'V' shape.

And her hat is the crown of a hat I made last year with some left over ribbon, a broken button and an ostrich feather from the stash!
I felt so elegant in my dress, till my petticoat straps fell down and I kept treading on it's hem, which was now an inch longer than the skirt!
Photobucket
I'll have to get round to taking a better photo of my silly hat, it's actually a brocade.
Photobucket
Then we changed again! This time with a long session of relaxing, sitting in our undies before putting corsets on!
Photobucket
And a couple of shots of my new bonnet. The straw braid came from a hat I bought in the summer. I still can't believe how long it took me to figure out the shape, it looked so simple but was very very tricky.

And just an example of how we all felt by the end of the day!

Not so much sewing to do for the next one, we're just doing regency and victorian and all I have to do is sort out my regency petticoat, (I think I'll put it on a bodice instead of straps) and make up my plaid cotton work dress so I have something more suitable. I'm also going to make another 1860s over hoop petticoat, I tripped on mine a couple of times because it's a bit too long on an uneven surface. Of course, I may get silly and decide to make other things too, but nothing else is necessary!
