Well, in theory we're all set for tomorrow, but we'll see!
I was going to finish Mummy's new bodice for the demo, but I needed her to come home to try on before I did the button holes, and then she said she'd rather not wear it for the first time for a demo, in case she ripped it or it got wet/ stained, so instead of finishing it we went our for a meal :)
During the afternoon while I was waiting for her to come home I decided to make her a new regency hat, she's been wearing the same dress and hat for months, I felt bad! I found some brown velvet in the stash, with a matching feather plume and some ribbon, so I made a HUUUUUGE hat! You have to see the photos to believe it! Luckily I put millinery wire in the brim so we can smoosh it up!
I also did a hasty trim job on my 1830s straw bonnet form so I have a hat to wear if I have to wear my 1830s (if it's raining and we have to go inside, the space for dancing in is very small, so our organiser suggested those of us with smaller dresses wear them.)
I'm just going to check my camera battery then off to bed, the earliest so far this week, yay!

I've decided that I am wearing the 1830s regardless. Even if the sun comes out and we dance outdoors, the grass is most likely still going to be wet so I won't have to worry about ruining a hem or anything. It is also much more comfy. :)

Your hats are so beautiful, I can't wait to see them. And your mum will be so surprised and I bet happy when she sees her new one.
