Something to look forward to!

As most of you know I think, I can't make it out to CosCol this year either :( We STILL haven't sold the old house, so no funds available, especially for such an expensive trip that has to be planned in advance. We might still sell the house soon, but I would have needed to get plain tickets allready, and membership and tickets etc, so just not feasable :(
BUT, when I was saying this a few weeks ago, koshka_the_cat reminded me of UTR, I'd said last year how I'd love to go, but being so close to CosCol I wouldn't be able to manage both. Now that that's not a problem anymore I got all excited at the prospect of being able to get to UTR - it's this side of the US, so the flight is about half the cost! And I don't have to make any decisions till nearer the time. I was on tenterhooks till I'd checked with my boss when the yr7 play is, but it's the 3rd week in June, not the last, so it looks like I might make it, if finances allow!!
So, now I get to look forward to the opportunity of seing some of my costuming buddies! Not as many as I'd like, but some is a million times better than none!!!!! Now to plan the wardrobe :D

Oh,oh!!! That would be so cool! I hope you can come... and to my neck of the woods this time! If you want to come for an extra day or two for DC/Virginia siteseeing, my house is always open! I might even have to throw a costuming tea that week in your honour...

Under the Redcoat. It's an event each year where the British take over Williamsburg and put it under martial law. Loads of fun!

Ooh, that would be nice. I work for Colonial Williamsburg and will be in town playing with some friends for UTR. Let me know if you make it to Virginia. I'm having a period picnic again this year -- would be great to have you attend!

I called them because I'm tired of their website not telling me. Their customer care rep's assurance was that it was most likely the last weekend in June. Not super-helpful, I know, but it's straight from the proverbial horse's mouth!
