No sewing today

I started out the day all sprightly, well, as sprightly as you can be on a Sunday morning! I made lunch and some chocolate brownies for dancing, and then 'came over all unnecessary', I felt very strange, I was in the process of pouring some cream into the sauce for the chicken when I had to sit down and have a glass of water :( I lied down on the sofa for a while while Mummy finished the lunch, then ate lunch, which made me feel a bit better, then had a nap, which made me feels lots better! I got up in time to have a cup of tea and some warm squidgy brownies before going out to dancing! So no time to sew! But dancing was lots of fun, even if I did keep calling wrong :D
So now I have work tomorrow, and my boss will be stressing about the inspection on Tuesday and Wednesday, so it will not be an easy week :( Hopefully I'll be able to make myself sew in the evenings. I need to be in tomorrow and Tuesday, but I'm not sure if I'll be in on Wednesday or not, if not I might go in on Friday for my 3rd day, then I get a mid week weekend :) Of course it all depends on what my boss wants me to do, she may want me in on both days of the inspection, in which case I'll end up having a 4 day weekend, which might not be so bad :D as long as I manage to make myself sew when I get in from work, I'll be happy. I must say I hate this time of year, I do NOT like coming home from work in the dark! It feels like it's bedtime already!!!

Wonder if there is something in the air? I felt really not right this morning.

I had a sort of aura of a migraine but it was exactly the same pain I had in the weeks after my head injury last year along with sight interference and slight dizziness. I did what you did and made close friends with the sofa after having made sure I ate something and took an aspirin. Seemed to work.

This afternoon, though I didn't sew or work on the Victorian 1869 costume notes or a Tudor Costume Overview I should be doing, I did design a sheer 1869 gown!

Hope you are feeling much better now.

I think it might be something in the air, we had a bit of a thaw yesterday, and I think maybe I reacted to the change in air pressure? I Hope you're all better now!
I spent last night trying to get to sleep, but failing miserably because I had all these ideas for 18th century outfits buzzing round my head!
