Last night's ball was so much fun, but boy am I tired today!!! I don't think I've been this stiff and sore after a ball in ages! But any way, there are some photos

I know you've seen this before, but here it is again :)



And my Cardinal red cloak, every girl has to have one!!!






As a group we always cater our balls ourselves, I think this ball's spread was the best yet! Amongst other things, we provided cake and a trifle:

Clare and I 'carved' the strawberries for the bouquet of roses, and the frosting is a cream cheese frosting (not period at all, but oh so tasty!!)


The trifle has boudoir biscuits soaked in sherry, vanilla custard and sweet white wine syllabub. Clare crystallised the rose petals for me, if you can't tell, they're meant to be a heart!!

It's half term this week, so I should be able to get lots of sewing done, but tomorrow I'm going shopping with Gemma and we're going to the cinema to see Valentine's day as well, then home for supper and Gleeeeee!!!
