a haaaand bag!

no, not the large black kind small babies are found in in oscar wilde plays, but my pink bag i made a while ago, and a lilac one i finished this morning.

the flower on the front is one i bought about 6 years ago, and used in my hair, i kept it just in case!

the lining is a lovely pink gingham, a nice surprise when you open it!!

this bag is totally 'free' the bead trim was in a bag of off cuts from a trimmings shop, i wanted the ribbon in the bag, and for £1 i got a bag full, including this trim which was £5 a metre at least! the wool was a hand-me-down from my aunt and the lining came from school while the zip and inside pocket came form a broken bought bag!

i now want to make more because i don't think the purple one is me, and i have a friend who loves purple and needs cheering up, so....!
ps. it SNOWED, lots and lots!!

i looove my pink one, i can get so much in it, a wallet, HUGE bunch of keys, lip balm, chocolate bar, diary, cheque book, pen(s!), playing cards, book, mobile phone, and lots of other things i can't remember, i also got 2 more big wallets in when we went to the pub the other day! i call it my tardis bag!!
