sheepish

hi! i am still alive, but work has been so manic lately, and i have a fete on saturday to prepare for so i haven't actually done any sewing, it's so bad, because i don't want to make the 1860s ball gown i'm not doing anything!
i was at my aunts at the weekend, and she told me about a talk she'd been to at a local National Trust house. the talk was called dressing the tudors, and is buy the authours of The Tudor Tailor: Reconstructing 16th-Century Dress! it's touring all year, so i'm going to go in the autumn when they are a bit nearer my neck of the woods. one of them is pregnant and is presumably on maternity leave in the summer as there is a month long gap in the schedule.
have i made all of you in the states mad? (snigger snigger!!) maybe now you know what it's like not being able to go to costume college!!
