houses

today is the day the house we reeeally want in the village we reeeally want to live in goes on sale. it's a new build and you either have to have the cash in your bank account or a letter from the mortgage company saying the money is there when you want it. we have neither of those things, and there is a hell of a lot of interest in this house. very very bad news :(
there is some good news though, the estate agent came round with the guy who is interested in our house on thursday, he really likes it and is getting his architect to look at plans and go to the planners on tuesday, so we will hopefully have a buyer who will give us lots of lovely money, but this is rather useless when we can't have the house we want :(
so, feeling terrible at the moment, and we have a stupid village fair on monday, so we spent this morning sorting out tables. (i guess it kept our minds of the house, someone has probably bought it by now) i really ought to be making some more jewellery, but i just feel rather blegh at the moment. i also need to bake for the teas on monday, but don't want to.

HOUSES!!!!!

we just rang the builders of the house we like, and IT HASN'T GONE ON SALE AFTER ALL!!!!!!! *does happy dance round the room* we might still get our house :) now we need to wait for tuesday to see if we get an offer on this house. oh i'm so excited! but i know now not to get my hopes up, it'll probably still all go pear shaped knowing our luck. i mustn't get too excited though, or i'm just asking for trouble, but it's so hard when there is the prospect of a NEW HOUSE!!!!!
