happy weekend

i'm sitting in the staff room waiting to be picked up after a shamefully early 8am start! they did a 'trailer' of "the importance of being ernest" in assembly, and neede me to help get them dressed and do their hair. but it's mummy's birthday today, so no more work and we're going to go out and do something nice. and by we, i mean me, mummy and clare! she's home over the weekend for mummy's birthday and mothering sunday, (and we're going to play dollies tomorrow :) i love my sissy!)
mummy's ball gown now has one finished sleeve that i still need to sew into the armhole. it took me all of yesterday afternoon, you'll see why hopefully, when i post photos. and yes, i know i promissed photos from the fitting, but photobucket is still blocked at work, and i keep forgetting at home :(
i want it finished now, i want to do my ballgown :( and i want to get onto the regency dresses! but, by next friday i will be on holiday, 3 weeks off work for easter, i cannot wait! i just hope i pull my finger out and get on and actually sew!!
