well, as per usual, nothing exciting is happening here! that was just a blip from the norm when we got OUR NEW HOUSE!!!!! we should be in before christmas! and we have our pre-plaster meeting next week hopefully, when we see the house before the plaster board goes up, all the battens with the wires and pipes showing, it'll be weird, and the house will seem tiny mummy says, i'm a bit worried about going upstairs, there will be no banisters, and i have vertigo :(
i reeealy want to sew some clothes though, i have 2 deadlines that at this rate i'll never fit :) i need to make something new (or at least, want to! it's one of the 2 chances i have to wear stuff!) for the victorian fair at christmas, and i need to make my cinderella outfit for the ball in january, and clare's prince charming get up!!
also, i want to make more dolls clothes, i'm making an outfit for a swap i'm in and it's making me desperate to sew some more things for my girls. i really need to do some more photo album stories, but my imagination isn't up to much these days :)
as always, my main trouble at the moment is the puppy, she's so cute, and so demanding :p but there i may have a solution of sorts! we're going to get another puppy on sunday , YAY!!! *does happy dance round room* emmy did so well at the weekend playing with the other dogs at the kenels that it got me thinking, and then my cousin's puppies (well, 14 months and 6 months!) were playing sooo well together that it made me think maybe that's what emmy needs, to sort out her timidity and help us train her, she was so old when she came that she will NOT come when she's called. also, once i go to work more often it'll be much better for her to have a friend to play with :) the new baby is only 8 weeks old, so a teeny tiny bundle of fluff for me to cuddle, and of courxe, try and house train, eek! oh well, there goes my free time for the next few weeks at least! and then we go to new york!!!!!! YAAAAY!

When we got our dogs, we were only planning on getting one of them. But they cried and carried on so much when we separated them that we realized we would have to get both or neither. And I think having two has made them easier to live with. They play with each other and, in some ways, train each other.

Are you getting another spaniel?

yes :D i love cocker spaniels!
i thought that having 2 would be really good for them, and i'm sure that as long as i spend lots of time with the new baby and emmy they will still love me and know i'm boss/mummy. one of my cousins has several collies and she wins agility competitions with them all over the place, and she said to try and avoid litter siblings because they won't bond with you, only each other. so hopefully the age difference and the fact that we've had emmy for so many weeks will make sure i'm the most important person in their lives.
i'm so excited, i can't imagine having 2 gorgeous babies to kiss :p
