plans afoot

mlsdesignsyaya, eljay works at work now! they have a really strict filter, cos it's a school, and the staff get on it sometimes by accident, is sorted now :)
now, onto my plans for this year!
in may (on my birthday!! yay!!) our dance group has another ball, in june we're going to see romeo and juliet at an outdoor theatre, in costume, in august we're going to a victorian festival for the last day and grand ball and also in august i'm going to COSTUME COLLEGE!!!!
so, all this means i need to sew like a trooper :)
my dress is fine for the ball, one more incarnation with balck i think, i'm going to make a lace overskirt for it, then next ball i can trim it in white instead (more uses out of it, before i have to make a new one!!)
clare can wear her tails or 18th century fancy dress or the cream bustle dress from college, but mummy needs something new, something made for her. so i need to start from the inside, new chemise, new corset, new hoops and new petticaot, not to mention a dress!
we all need tudor clothes, gowns for me and mummy, and gents stuff for clare again! and a gown for her girlfriend to. then clare and gemma are going to a masked ball in the clothes too, i can't go cos i have a play that day :(
the only things i'll need to make for the festival is a day dress or bodice for mummy.
but CC is going to be a problem, cos i can't wear a crinoline, nor could i get in home on the plane with all the fabric i want to buy :) so i think i'll have 18th century stuffs for CC, which means i have to make more! i want to make a sacque back with the silk and trim i bought in new york, and a jacket and quilted petticoat, that i can mix and match with my anglaise i made last year.
now, how am i going to fit it all in!!!!
