well, the drama workshop is over for another year! thank god!! interestingly, i was paid almost as much for this week as i am for a month at work, i should tell my boss, she probably didn't realise when she paid me for this week that she's upped my salary by 1/12th!!!
and on sunday we're going to scotland! i will be taking lots of hand sewing :p so, if i'm incommunicado for the next weeks, that's what i'm up to! then i'm only home for a couple of days, just enough to do some laundry! then i'm off to CC!!!!! see you soon!

Alas, 'tis but too true. Airfare alone to the UK would cost me about a week's salary. I shudder to think what food and lodging would cost (although it would be worth it to get my hands on a nice cheese and onion pasty...)

You know, I do love cornish pasties, and they're just about the only kind that my boyfriend will eat, but the thing is, I can make them pretty well myself. When I try to make a cheese and onion pasty though, it turns into an oily mess. I don't know how they get all that cheese flavor into something that's only slightly runny when hot. I'm sure it's something terribly disgusting, but it tastes so good...

Glad to hear you are alright. We were a bit nervous when you were quiet for a few days. I knew you were helping with the workshop, but I must have forgotten that it was for a week. For some reason I thought it was for 2 days.

yes, sorry, i've been so tired this week, and i've been frantically trying to sew when i get home - making some modern clothes at long last!
no, the horrid hateful workshop was the whole bloomin week. at least i got paid a nice amount, which will come in very very handy for august's credit card bill!
we will have fun! i just wish you guys could have come, it would have been fun! although, we wouldn't have got much sewing done!

You never know... we could have sat down and sewed and laughed. But I will admit that having no plans to leave the house this weekend makes me happy. I've been sewing like mad! I just finished the belt with the streamers for the sheer dress and it looks really cool.

Well, there's always the Victorian Festival in August. We'll all have plenty of fun there :)

By the way, all of the tickets came in the post this morning, so we're all set for all of the major events.

I don't know if you're back yet from your wonderful visit here at CC, and your trip to Scotland, but I wanted to tell you how much I admired your green pet en lair (sp). The color was just beautiful on you, and the workmanship was perfect.
And your hair looked really cute after it was all done up in class.
It was good to finally meet you! Sorry it took me a couple times to register who you were. We all look so different in real life, or in/out of costume. I know one lady who we both stared at each other, not registering, until we both got home and the light bulb went on. Duh!
