anyway,
mummy's dress is the same as the previous ball,

and look how pleased with herself she is :)


i added a hook and thread bar to the neck and waist drawstrings, but she still managed somehow to pop the bar on the waist!

i made aunty jac's dress from a dress from school that i wore for the 'medieval' evening in the summer, cutting off the long sleeves and silver trim, then i made an over dress from black lace, the width of the fabric, cut long enough, slit up the front and a scoop cut out to make the neckline. with a drawstring in the waist and neck, and elastic (gasp!) in the sleeves.

then there's my dress :) but i'll do another post for that i think :)
