An "at home" in a veg shop!!
Aug. 15th, 2009 09:42 pmToday our dance group danced, drank tea and generally enjoyed ourselves in an empty greengrocer's shop belonging to the group's organiser. Bizarre I know!!! We were hoping to drum up some new recruits, don't know if we did, but we had a lovely afternoon anyway!

Mell (the organiser) and I improving the hour, she was mending her bustle, I was working on my sontag. Perfect afternoon ocupation! And look, tea cups and flowers! (the table cloth is hiding a cheap MDF side table, and the other table we had was a folding caravan table :) Amazing what cloths and some flowers can do!!)

Another crocheting shot :) I wish I'd managed to make make my best silk apron before today, it would have been the perfect accessory :(

And another, just because it shows my bodice off a bit better, I think I should make a chemisette, this is better as a dinner bodice as it is I think. I love the lace undersleeves I made, maybe I've got over my hatred for them now? (or maybe not!!)

And the corset cover I made this morning, I took it with us so I could get a photo for you, I didn't wear it though, it would have been soooo hot! It's just simple, sleeveless, with a drawstring neck, but it does the job, yay :)
I didn't do anything after we got back, so tomorrow it's back to the grindstone!
