Aaargh!!

Why does Costume College sneak up on you so quickly!! I spent all of yesterday and today fighting with the bodice of my blue and yellow plaid bustle dress, I think I've finally wrangled it into submission, so now all it needs is the trim at neck and cuffs stitching down, and buttons and button holes. I also still have to finish fixing the petticoat of my cross-bared sack; have 2 bonnets and a hat to trim; and some hair pieces to make. That list doesn't sound too scary, but when you add packing it makes me want to cry! It's so hard and takes so long and I'm always convinced I'll forget something :(

You can do it all!

It's so stressful the week before! I'm done with just about everything (I need to add a button and baste some flounces on a shift, hardly anything) and I'm still in that eek! mode.

Well, and finish Aubry's pinball which should've been done last night, but circumstances intervened. I think you're up next. I was thinking pale pink with a fawn design. Floral and initials on one side, a little bird in a tree on the other. With any luck, I'll be working on it before Costume College :)

I know exactly how you feel! I leave tomorrow and I don't have a single completely done outfit.

You can do it, though. And if not, we'll have a sewing party on Wednesday/Thursday night :)

CosCol is always sneaky that way. It's the one thing I'm not missing this year but really it's a small price to pay for the awesome fun you'll have!! :>
