And I have pictures to prove it :) The whole thing took me much longer than I thought it would, but at least it's done now!!

This is ready for dinner, then add the dicky and she's ready for the day!

And look, it looks just like applied trim on a whole bodice!

It was a very hard job cutting out the pieces of the dicky! But I finally managed to get all the lines to match up! And luckily the pins fit neatly under the ribbon trim, so a nice quick addition too!

I didn't get on to the mantle, AGAIN! And I'm cross with myself, because I could easily done my little accessories if I didn't want to work on a big project, but instead I did nothing! I have ribbon bows and decorated hair nets to make, nice easy little things that I could have done today :( Oh well, once again, here's hoping I do better tomorrow?

Thank you! I have a little left, if you want it to line a hood, trim a paletot or something?

As tempting as the offer is, it is probably better for you to hold onto it. I always like to keep the bits of extra fabric just in case something happens and you have to do a repair. :) It would be a shame if you needed a bit for the outfit and I had used it!

I really want to do a plaid something. Though at the moment I am so overwhelmed with the moving process that the thought of adding anything to our stuff makes me wonky!

Okay :)
Oooh, I know what you mean about not being able to face the idea of moving MORE stuff!!!

Thank you! It's such a cool idea, isn't it? I got it from patterns of fashion (not clever enough to come up with it on my own!)
