I like being a sheep :) and it's been so much fun, looking back to see just how much I did this past year! No wonder I was tired ;)
Any way,

Re-vamp of my blue ball gown - net overskirts and bertha with posies and lace.

Mummy's plaid silk ball gown, Clare helped with the hairnet!

Clare's bustle and petticoat and the ball gown - skirt, overskirt and bodice.

Don't think it really counts! Mummy's blue Anglaise, a rehashed hideous bridesmaid's dress, worn with my undies and cap and a scarf for a fichu!!

Mummy's cotton print day gown with chemisette and hat.

Blue silk regency, chemisette and hat.

Fanchon bonnet.

Striped linen regency and straw hat.

Indian cotton print regency daydress.

Clare's petticoat and regency ballgown.

Mummy's black and gold sari ballgown

Fanchon bonnet for Saffia, young girl in y dance group.

Blue plaid daydress and green silk drawn bonnet.

Day/evening bodice for Mummy's plaid ballgown skirt.

Mummy's mantle, which I don't think she ever wore in the end, or maybe to go to one ball, taking it off as soon as she got there!

Decorated hairnets and bows, and undersleeves for this dress and the pink evening bodice, as well as refits for both bodices, after I lost all the weight with my gallstones.

Sheer white waist and belt, tucked petticoat and corset cover.

How did I manage not to get a photo of Clare in this! Anyway, new overskirt and day bodice for her green ballgown, and teeny pink straw hat.

Finally, a multi use photo!!! Clare's apricot over robe and lunardi hat, my brown velvet spencer and Marrianne straw hat, Mummy's peach daydress and brown floral over robe.

Mummy's cream wool spencer and brown velvet hat.

New corset.

Blue winter hood, remade almost completely!

Mint-green regency ballgown, from a sari.

Red challis winter day dress.
I started out doing them in order of completion, then I got confused and did them in the order I found them :D Wow, I did a lot! It's amazing what a lot of sewing you can do when you only work part time, and only term time at that!!

Happy New Year! Val

And you and your Mums really do need to come and visit. I think we still have a cook book held hostage - don't we??

Do you still have a book? I forgot! What was it?! We'll have to see if we can't manage to get to you soon, life gets so busy doesn't it?!

Date: 2010-01-01 10:32 pm (UTC)I suppose I do! I love accessories: gloves, bags, hats, jewellery, I like to feel like a real person - the original lot didn't just wear a dress, they put an outfit together each day the way we do! Mixing up hats and jewellery makes it feel like a new outfit every time!
